3. What Happens After We Receive a DMCA Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Review the claim and the identified content
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material where appropriate
  • Make a good-faith effort to notify the user, contributor, or content owner whose material was removed or disabled

In some cases, especially for misunderstandings or borderline fair-use situations, we may reach out for clarification before taking action.

4. Counter-Notification (If Your Content Was Removed)

If your content was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice, and you believe this removal was mistaken or that you have the legal right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled (URL).
  2. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  3. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district of residence (or, if outside the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction in the federal courts located in Hawaii, USA), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
  4. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for electronic submissions).

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same DMCA Agent listed above.

5. Repeat Infringers

Where applicable, and at our sole discretion, we may limit or terminate access to this site for users who are found to be repeat infringers of others’ copyrights.
